The Year in a Nutshell

In 2018, MAGNA teams provided medical and humanitarian assistance to people who were facing extreme difficulties in 6 countries around the world.

In 2018, responding to the immediate situation continued to be a major part of our work: From responding to epidemics such as cholera in South Sudan, providing medical assistance to victims of violence in the Kasai region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, treating children and their families around the world and making every effort to improve patient care no matter where we work.

MAGNA intervention in 2018

  • 202 000 outpatient consultations
  • 5 725 severely malnourished children in nutrition programs
  • 2 570 assisted births (including C-sections)
  • 1 034 hospitalized pediatric patients
  • 1 750 children treated in HIV/AIDS programs
