MAGNA organizes humanitarian medical projects to help people in need, whether through poverty, disease, war, or ecological disaster and regardless of ethnicity, religion or nationality. MAGNA is independent of all states and institutions, as well as of all political, economic or religious influences.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"e-content-text\"><div class=\"e-content-text__inner\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">MAGNA recruits medical and non-medical personnel, collects private and institutional funds and raises awareness among the public about populations in danger. Using a small but highly committed group of staff and volunteers, MAGNA has achieved respectable results.&nbsp;MAGNA for over 20 years has focused on providing medical care (primary, secondary, nutrition, sexual violence, HIV\/AIDS and other infectious diseases) in countries such as&nbsp;Afghanistan,&nbsp;South Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Ukraine and Cambodia&nbsp;among others.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"e-content-text\"><div class=\"e-content-text__inner\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The operations are implemented by field teams and the mission coordination teams; together with the Operational&nbsp;Centre&nbsp;based in&nbsp;Bratislava&nbsp;and decentralized&nbsp;around the world. The field operations are guided and supported Cells covering specific geographical area&nbsp;and other departments&nbsp;and services&nbsp;supporting operations, including the&nbsp;Administration&nbsp;department.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"e-content-text\"><div class=\"e-content-text__inner\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>GENERAL OBJECTIVE AND JOB ENVIRONMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"e-content-text\"><div class=\"e-content-text__inner\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The main objective of the position is to monitor and support missions of&nbsp;MAGNA&nbsp;regarding their&nbsp;administrative, HR and&nbsp;recruitment management, while being functionally responsible for the mission&nbsp;HR&nbsp; managers&nbsp;and HR coordinators&nbsp;in those missions. Apart from that, he\/she leads or participates in (non-mission specific) efforts related with recruitment process, IT system development and functional ownership, as well as development of HR management procedures and trainings.&nbsp;The focus is to ensure appropriate support and guidance to&nbsp;MAGNA&nbsp;missions regarding their&nbsp;administration and&nbsp;HR, in collaboration with other relevant departments&nbsp;(operations, medical, logistical, financial), while working as one team between HQ and field.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"e-content-text\"><div class=\"e-content-text__inner\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"e-content-text\"><div class=\"e-content-text__inner\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Provide strategic and technical support<\/strong>&nbsp;to field teams in all phases of the project cycle for regular, exploratory and emergency missions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Check the coherence of the field HR strategy<\/strong>&nbsp;of the projects within portfolio, ensuring it aligned with both Operations and HR unit, providing HR advice when drafting the annual planning of the projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supervise and&nbsp;<strong>give support in the implementation of HR policies<\/strong>&nbsp;and plans, ensuring that the Organisation\u2019s HR principles, guidelines, and policies are implemented.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure compliance of the labour obligation with the local labour legislation,&nbsp;<strong>making sure MAGNA is a Responsible Employer.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure appropriate&nbsp;<strong>monitoring and management of HR in the field<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transmit missions\u2019 HR requirements to the HR unit, making sure they are pertinent, and coherent with local capacity in the field, to ensure appropriate procurement of resources, by Recruitment and Pool Management Unit, to missions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Follow up field staff<\/strong>&nbsp;(departure and return, integration to the missions and projects, identification of potentials, follow-up and evaluation, development, potential expatriation of national staff, etc.) together with the HRCO.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Follow up Behaviours Issues and support conflict resolution<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate as a member in the critical incident team when required and if needed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Follow up the HR management in the projects through field visits and technical reports;
