Why does MAGNA intervene in Nepal?

Nepal is one of the poorest and least developed countries in the world, almost a quarter of its population lives below the poverty line.

Two powerful earthquakes struck Nepal on April 25 and May 12, 2015. They killed approximately 8,500 people and injured another 20,000. Earthquakes in Nepal were accompanied by other tremors that came each subsequent day and night. These unpredictable tremors were a terrifying experience for everyone, especially children. The districts of Gorkha, Lamjung and Sindupalchok were the most affected, as well as the heavily populated Kathmandu Valley.
