Finances, Reporting and Accountibilty

When it comes to raising and spending funds, we apply the same principles of transparency and accountability that govern all of our work.

We are accountable

Each year, our audited financial statements provide an overview of MAGNA’s work. Our activity report provides details of our activities and spending in each country and reflects the main challenges we faced during the year. Find out more about where our money comes from and how your donations are used with our financial and activity reports.

Global finances 2024

We strive to operate as efficiently as possible and minimize both fundraising and administrative costs. From 2001 to 2024, more than 90 cents of every euro spent by MAGNA was allocated to our medical humanitarian programs.

In 2024, total expenses were €2,124,522, of which €1,936,542 (91.2%) was spent on medical and humanitarian programs. The organization’s donor, management, and administrative costs amounted to €187,980 (8.8%). This is a decrease compared to the extraordinary levels of 2022 and 2023. The lower expenses are related to changes in the structure of USAID project funding and developments in the Middle East, including the escalation of the conflict in Gaza and political changes in Syria and Ukraine, which required a dynamic response and adaptation of projects in these regions.

Read our International Activity Report 2024

MAGNA publishes an International Activity Report every year, which documents the impact of our medical humanitarian work.

Annual and Financials reports
